cap hotel in noyelles-godault exceeded my expectations during this overnight stop. their reception service was exceptional, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. the spacious family room was a bit worn out but comfortable. i highly recommend this quiet location near the motorway.
Showerhead fixings were missing.

The hotel was ideally located for the A1. Rooms were clean.
To be honest the only problem we found is the horrible choice of colours for the bedroom walls and ceilings which appears to be done for cheapness and to hide the nicotine stains! One of our bedrooms and most of the corridors stank of smoke.

We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children as an overnight stop en route from Calais to French alps. We were disappointed to be provided with only1 towel between the 4 of us! Otherwise all ok

The location of the hotel, right next door to the pub, was convenient for grabbing a drink or a bite to eat. there were nearby transport options such as the metro or bus stop, making it easy to explore the area. the room was sufficient for our needs, providing a comfortable place to sleep. the staff were friendly and welcoming upon check-in.
The hotel was in need of some updates and maintenance, with peeling paint and exposed wiring in the room.

For the price the room was surprisingly well laid out and decorated. We had a family room to accomodate our 2 kids. The room was open plan with a sort of seperate section (almost like two adjoining rooms without door), flat screen tv , very clean.
We arrived at 9 pm and had to phone a mobile number as the reception and hotel was closed. The restaurant/bar advertised was also closed. In the morning we wanted to leave early but couldn'T. There was no one to settle bill until 9.00 am . We asked about coffee/ breakfast. And were told "oh, not until 10.00! " All was done in my non existant French becauase the 2 people I met working there had no English. The hotel gave the impression of a failing establishment on a shoestring . a nice hotel with no customers. Only 2 other rooms occupied when I was there and there were loads of rooms. Felt sorry for the owner really.

Fairly spacious and good parking
The breakfast looked very poor so we left. The fire doors were left jammed open at 2300 hours which was totally unacceptable and extremely dangerous.

Resturant was very good and good value. Staff were helpful. It had everything we needed.
The room was uncleaned/unmade from previous guests on our arrival at 7pm. We were given another room, which was very basic. Only a bed - no headboard/bedside tables, desk, chair etc. Just a bed and a tv.

The location is convenient for the motorway . The sheets on the bed were clean.
The room was dingy, bathroom floor and toilet dirty, the room smelt very strongly of paint. There was no number on our bedroom door which was aalso very difficult to open. We did not eat there but had a drink at the bar which turned out to be astonishingly expensive!
